Brooklyn — At least five people were hurt in a violent altercation at a Brooklyn sports bar Monday morning, police say.
Police responded to D Avenue Sports Bar located at 673 Flatbush Ave. around 2:15 a.m. Monday.
Authorities say a fight began between two groups who were at the Brooklyn venue. As the 24-year-old bouncer tried to break it up, someone broke a bottle over his head and was slashed, cops said. He refused medical attention at the scene.
The fight then spilled outside and someone pulled out a gun, where four men were shot in various parts of their bodies, according to the NYPD.
A 30-year-old was shot in the neck, 24-year-old was grazed in the elbow, 34-year-old was shot in the arm and a 30-year-old was hurt in the thigh, groin and shin, police said.
All are expected to survive.
Police believe there is only one shooter and it is unclear if everyone who was shot was part of the fight.
No arrests have been made.
