Linsey “Jade” Berardi, who starred in Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club: Chicago” series, has died, the network announced Friday. She was 22.

Berardi, a New York native, went by the nickname “Brooklyn Brat” on Season 12 of the Oxygen reality TV series, which debuted last May.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Linsey ‘Jade’ Berardi, who appeared in ‘Bad Girls Club Season 12.’ Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts go out to her family, friends and fans,” Oxygen said in a release.

Her stint as a reality star was brief. Berardi appeared on just one episode of BGC before voluntarily leaving the mansion where all seven of the show’s stars lived.

Berardi told her Facebook followers she was struggling with “health problems” in a cryptic message on March 2.

“Hey guys. Just letting anyone know I’m going away due to health problems tomorrow morning for some time,” she wrote. “So if I’m not responding to texts, I’m not ignoring u, I’ll see them when I get home!”
