Brooklyn Gunman Creeps Up On Kid And Shoots Him In Head (Video)
The teen was standing outside a Brownsville bodega on Mother Gaston Blvd. and New Lots Ave. when two suspects in black hoodies skulked up behind him around 10:30 p.m., security footage shows.
One suspect then fires at the victim, grazing him across the temple.
A clerk at the bodega, Abdul Nassir, 21, said the victim immediately collapsed to the ground before retreating inside the deli for safety, blood pouring from his wound.
“We just heard the gunshot — one shot, one bullet — and he ran into the store. He dropped to the floor and then ran inside,” Nassir said.
Panicked customers fled to the back of the store and broke down a door to the basement in the chaotic aftermath, he said.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspects remained at large early Wednesday.
