Cardi B Wins Lawsuit Against Tasha K And Still Wants More! (Outspoken With Karim Johnson) Ep.86 Fresh off defeating Tasha K, real name Latasha Kebe, in a defamation trial back in January, Cardi B is now filing a permanent injunction against the YouTube personality. In a new filing Thursday night in federal court, Billboard reports the Bronx rapper has requested that a federal judge forbid Tasha K from posting “harmful and disgusting lies.” Cardi and her lawyers allege that the court’s recent $4 million defamation verdict has proven to be “inadequate.” “Plaintiff filed this action because defendants refused to stop targeting her with harmful and disgusting lies,” Cardi’s legal team wrote in court documents obtained by Billboard. “Damages alone are inadequate to address the constant ongoing threat of defendants repeating the defamatory statements [and] defendants have explicitly said that they will continue publishing the defamatory statements unless an injunction is issued.”
