Chance The Rapper has announced that he is donating one million dollars to Chicago Public Schools. He also urged Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner to find a way to spend more on public education. Chance said the donation possible from ticket sales for his upcoming tour. At a news conference, the rapper said he met with Rauner to “urge him to do his job” and to “honor his original commitment to provide $215 million to CPS.” Chance said the meeting was ultimately unsuccessful. He said Rauner gave him a lot of vague answers.
