President-elect and avid Twitter user Donald Trump claimed Wednesday that he does not enjoy tweeting. In an interview with Fox News he said, “I don’t like tweeting. I have other things I could be doing. I get very dishonest media. I get very dishonest press. And it’s my only way that I can counteract.” Some reporters have theorized that the incoming president tweets in order to prevent the press from reporting on his important policies or investments. A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released Wednesday says that 69 percent of Americans would prefer it if Trump stopped tweeting, and 47 percent of Republicans said his tweeting is counterproductive.
