BREAKING: Draymond Green Suspended for Game 5
Despite Golden State’s triumphant 108-97 victory on the road in Cleveland on Thursday, many people inside of the Warriors’ organization were fearful of a looming suspension for one of their most important players.
Those fears have unfortunately come to fruition for the Warriors and Draymond Green.
The NBA has officially suspended Green for Game 5 as a result of his actions stemming from an incident towards the tail end of the forth quarter with LeBron James.
Green and James appeared to get tangled up at mid-court and Green took exception to James attempting to step over him after Green fell to the floor. The two exchanged some NSFW words, but the real blow, no pun intended, appears to have been Green’s purposeful attempt to punch James in the groin.
