On Wednesday, a judge in the state of Pennsylvania denied a request by former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky for a new trial on charges that he sexually assaulted underaged boys for over 15 years. Back in 2012, the 73-year-old was convicted of exploiting his position at Penn State to sexually assault at least 10 males. Sandusky, who is currently serving a 30- to 60-year prison sentence, has since asserted that his original trial attorneys botched his defense against the charges.
