Fresh off of conquering the Grammy rap categories for his celebrated sophomore studio offering To Pimp a Butterfly, K. Dot seems to be returning the favor — N.W.A member Ice Cube presented him with the best rap album trophy at the 58th annual awards show.
It would also mark a happy reunion of sorts, as N.W.A and Kendrick Lamar came together for a Billboard cover story last August.
Other H.O.F. inductees this year include Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple and Steve Miller. Kid Rock, Black Keys, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas have also been announced to join the induction festivities.
