A hulking brute spit at and then slashed a woman when she refused to talk to him in a Downtown Brooklyn subway station, cops said Tuesday.

The man tried to start a conversation with the 34-year-old woman in the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall station, but the woman ignored him during the unwanted interaction at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, according to police.

Enraged at her disinterest, the man spit at the woman, who then began to laugh at the creep, cops said. The man then pulled out a sharp object and slashed the woman on the arm.

The attacker, described as Hispanic, around 35-years-old, 5-foot-6 and weighing 165 pounds, then fled, police said.

The woman went to New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, where she was treated and released, according to cops.

Police released surveillance footage of the attacker, who wore a Yankees hat, blue tank top, sunglasses and a gold chain.
