Man Stabbed Up During Dispute On Staten Island Bus
STATEN ISLAND (WABC) —
A man was stabbed during a dispute on a bus on Staten Island Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say the 24-year-old man was stabbed multiple times on the S74 bus just before 1:45 p.m. It happened near the intersection of Broad and Canal streets in the Stapleton section.
The suspect, described only as a man in his 20s, fled the bus on foot, and detectives were looking for him.
The incident apparently stemmed from a dispute over a seat. The victim was stabbed in the hand and torso and was taken to Richmond University Medical Center in serious condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
