Meek Mill Sentenced to House Arrest (Can’t Record Music For 3 Months)

After much deliberation, Meek Mill is not headed back to jail for violating his probation. Today, a Philadelphia judge sentenced Meek, whose legal name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, to house arrest for a minimum of 90 days, starting March 1.

He’ll wear an ankle monitor and will be prevented from working (which includes releasing new music), though he can do charity work during that time. He will also be on probation for the next six years.
