A western New York man has admitted to ordering $60,000 worth of the illegal party drug “Molly” from China.
The U.S. attorney’s office in Buffalo says 22-year-old Peter Viera of Tonawanda pleaded guilty Friday to conspiracy to import the stimulant methylone, commonly known as Molly.
They say he ordered the drug between December 2011 and May 2013 with plans to sell it in western New York.
Viera was arrested in 2013 outside a Niagara Falls post office where a package containing the drug was delivered.
He faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in October.
