An NYPD sergeant was charged with two counts of rape Tuesday involving a girl under the age of 15, authorities said.
The victim’s mother walked into Manhattan’s Midtown North Precinct last week and told cops that Sgt. Vladimir Krull, 37, raped her teen daughter, a police source said.
In a criminal complaint, the mom alleges Krull had sex with her daughter in the Bronx between Nov. 1, 2013, and Feb. 14, 2014. The two had “sexually explicit” conversations as recently as Feb. 7, the complaint says.
Krull was charged with two counts of rape, criminal sex acts, sexual misconduct, forcible touching, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
The 10-year NYPD veteran was arrested while off duty in Queens, cops said.
The NYPD has placed Krull on modified duty, and he is being held in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $75,000 bond. His next court appearance is Friday.
The Police Department’s Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating, cops said.
