In less than just 48 hours since the murder of 36 year old Alton Sterling, 32 year old Philando Castile has also been executed at the hands of a mindless coward wearing a badge. Castile’s execution was documented via Facebook’s live stream feature by his girlfriend; Diamond Reynolds. One of Ms. Reynolds’ two young daughters was also in the vehicle at the time that Mr. Castile was murdered. This public execution was carried out at around 9pm Wednesday evening by a Minnesota police officer in the Falcon Heights neighborhood of Saint Paul, MN.
The couple was initially pulled over for a broken tail light. In the video, Ms. Reynolds can be heard explaining to possible viewers that Mr. Castile was directed by the police to produce his documents and in an attempt to be cooperative, Castile informed the officer that he did in fact have a licensed weapon. According to Ms. Reynolds, the officer then proceeded to fire four shots as Castile attempted to produce the requested documents, which were in his wallet, inside of his pants pocket. We later learned that those four shots were fatal.
Toward the end of the stream, Ms. Reynolds can be heard screaming and crying out in pure anguish and shock, as her young daughter tried to comfort her saying “It’s OK, mama, It’s OK, I’m right here with you.”
Although it is completely irrelevant whether or not a person has had a criminal record at any point in their life when it comes to the justification of them being murdered in cold blood. It is in fact important to note that it’s already been discovered that Philando Castile has never had any criminal run ins with the law. Castile was also apparently a beloved staff member at a Montessori School in Saint Paul where he worked in the cafeteria. A parent from the school took to social media to express her thoughts in the following post;

My deepest and sincerest condolences go out to Philando’s family. To Ms. Reynold’s, I am so sorry for your loss and I couldn’t possibly imagine your pain and how witnessing this has affected you. And lastly, my heart bleeds for the sweet baby girl (affectionately called Dae Dae), who had to witness these sickening events.
