A white Texas police officer who fired into a car of teenagers and killed a black 15-year-old passenger, now faces a murder charge. Former Officer Roy Oliver turned himself in Friday night, hours after the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest in the death of 15-year-old Jordan Edwards. Oliver was fired Tuesday from the police force in the Dallas suburb of Balch Springs. He was released after posting bail.
