School Teacher Arrested for Selling Xanax, Acid to Undercover Cop

She would normally be in the classroom at Central Avenue Elementary School in Kissimmee, teaching third graders, but tonight, 45-year-old Cheryl Heineman is under arrest, along with 20-year-old Jack Lindsey.

Both are charged with delivery and sale of a controlled substance, along with conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives said their investigation uncovered prescription anxiety medications, pain killers, the psychoactive drug MDMA which iscommonly known as “ecstasy” or “molly,” and acid. St. Cloud police said the pair would meet customers in store parking lots to sell the drugs.

A spokesperson for the Osceola County School District said Heineman became a teacher at Central Avenue Elementary in 2005. During the investigation, she’ll be transferred to an assignment outside the school, where she’ll have no contact with children.

Heineman and Lindsey are expected to go before a judge on Thursday.
