On Wednesday, authorities have said that a 19-year-old woman in Minnesota has been charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting her boyfriend. Monalisa Perez was arrested Monday night after she fatally shot her 22-year-old boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz, while the couple was recording a YouTube stunt for her vlog. On Wednesday, she was charged with manslaughter in the second degree, a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years or a fine of $20,000 or both. Perez called 911 on Monday evening to report that she accidentally shot Ruiz in the chest while they were making a YouTube video.
